The Marchand's Vapours

This is the story about Sloane, and Aj Marchand. Two agents for the Canadian Foreign Intelligence Service.

A Director for the National Research Council of Canada who developed a drone capable of destroying up to 100 incoming drones per second through laser dispersion, and is impervious to jamming, or blinding is found dead having been tortured, and his work computer is missing.

A leak from a mole inside CFB Intrepid blows their cover.

It develops that the assailants are not state actors. They’re freelancers and the notebook is on the market to the highest bidder. Assassins from all over the world, friend and foe, descend upon Canada to recover the notebook which contains info worth hundreds of billions.

Panic begins to set in at CFB Intrepid that the computer belonging to the deceased Director at the National Research Council may have been decrypted as details emerge as to how photons from laser dispersion are transformed into sound waves.

Sloane begins working on finding the assailants and the missing computer in Montreal. Aj begins working in Toronto.

Together Aj and Sloane will leave a silent trail of destruction in their wakes in the search of the missing computer that will change their lives forever.
